“Jewelry for Your Wall”

My artwork is about time, meditation, and the imaginative experience.  Working with a range of materials and processes to create one of a kind objects for wall display, I transform my own drawings and photos into multi-layered constructions that have shimmering and reflective beaded surfaces Subjects include portraiture, unique interpretations of ancient pottery forms, and symbolic creatures, both mythical and real. Enjoy!

>Have completed a new portrait on commission of a gorgeous green wing macaw named Majestic. The bird sadly passed away at a very young age, and a great friend of the owner commissioned this piece as a gift. I hope the piece brings happiness and good memories to the recipient.

>Pet Portraits: I am looking forward to working on more commissions this year.  Cats, dogs, and birds are all waiting for me, and I am excited to see them come to life in fabric.  I am also working on some special “stray” pieces in memory of a special cat who is now passed on.  A portion of the proceeds from sale of these pieces will benefit the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA. Images coming soon!
